We are looking for a qualified Chef to cater for the day to day meal requirements of a family in their private home. You should be knowledgeable about different dietary requirements, including vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free and other dietary restrictions, and be able to prepare meals that meet these requirements. You will design a weekly menu of breakfast, morning tea, lunches, afternoon teas and dinners, incorporating fresh ingredients.

Key responsibilities

Plan menus based on dietary preferences, restrictions, and seasonal availability

Demonstrate passion and expertise in providing high quality, compelling, delicious and nutritious meals

Source and purchase high-quality ingredients from specialty shops, farmer's markets, and other suppliers

Manage food purchases,



cool room and pantry stock control sourcing the freshest and finest food locally available

Keep the kitchen clean and organised, maintain inventory of ingredients, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained

Adhere to Food Safety requirements in preparation and storage of all food and clean and sanitise all kitchen areas in accordance with HACCP regulations

Prepare meals for special events or parties hosted by the family

About you

Chef qualifications with 3 years experience (Required)

Full Driver Licence (Required)

Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)

Friendly, reliable and hardworking

High level of cleanliness and pride in attention to detail
