We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (HR/Payroll) for a four-month contract to gather business requirements, facilitate workshops, perform gap analysis and conduct solution analysis on an HR/Payroll transformation project. You will partner with operational leaders and payroll specialists to build clarity and capability, ultimately delivering an evidence-based roadmap that identifies future options. Key Responsibilities

- Structured Diagnostic: Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current processes, system capabilities, user experience, and governance frameworks.
- Gap Analysis: Identify root causes of system or process inefficiencies and provide actionable, evidence-based recommendations.
- Documentation: Reconstruct existing (and often fragmented) artefacts into validated, coherent documentation, including SIPOC diagrams, swimlanes, data flow maps, and workflow documentation.
- Strategic Advisory: Develop practical options for gap closure, covering process redesign, system configuration, workflow optimisation, and potential system replacement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to validate findings and co-design solutions with staff and leadership.
- Reporting: Translate complex findings into clear, structured options papers and executive reports to support informed decision-making.
