Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Blockchain Developer.

The Blockchain

Developer will design, implement, and maintain blockchain-based applications and smart contracts, focusing on secure and efficient transaction processing. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and testing back-end code, integrating blockchain modules with existing systems, and optimizing performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements, documenting solutions, and participating in code reviews.

Developer will also stay current with emerging blockchain frameworks and cryptocurrency protocols to recommend and implement improvements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, including understanding of distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and token-based systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cryptography, including secure hashing, encryption methods,



and key management for blockchain applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Experience with smart contract development (e.g., Solidity or similar languages) and familiarity with major blockchain platforms (such as Ethereum or comparable networks).
- Robust problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly with distributed teams, and manage part-time schedules effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with version control systems, testing frameworks, and security best practices in software development is beneficial.
