Role Description The Bookkeeper role at EEA Advisory is a full-time, position offering flexibility and WFH, based in Brisbane, QLD. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing journal entries.

The Bookkeeper will assist in the preparation of financial statements, reconcile bank and ledger accounts, and ensure that transactions are properly recorded in accounting software. This position requires strong attention to detail,



consistent follow-through, and adherence to established accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Bookkeeping and Finance, with experience managing day-to-day transactional records.
- Ability to prepare and review Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related digital tools, like Dext, used for financial recordkeeping.
- Competence in creating and posting Journal Entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a closely related field (certificate, diploma, or degree).
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Prior experience in an accounting or advisory firm, or with SMEs, is highly regarde, but not essential.
