Business Analyst / Junior Business Analyst (Entry / Graduate Level)Role Description

We are seeking an analytical, curious, and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Junior Business Analyst to join our business transformation and technology team. In this entry-to-graduate level role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical execution teams by gathering operational requirements, analyzing current processes, and helping design effective software and business solutions. Working closely with Senior Business Analysts, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Operations Leads, you will document business workflows, draft functional requirements, create process maps, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).

Responsibilities include organizing stakeholder discovery sessions, translating complex business needs into structured user stories, analyzing operational data to identify optimization opportunities, maintaining project documentation, and tracking release readiness. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving capabilities, clear written and verbal communication, proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools, high attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Requirements Elicitation & Documentation: Foundational knowledge of gathering business needs and translating them into transparent functional requirements, technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Process Mapping & Workflow Modeling:



Ability to model business workflows, "as-is" and "to-be" process maps, and data flow diagrams using visual tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, or Miro).
- Data Analysis & Querying: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, logical functions) and basic SQL (SELECT, JOINs, aggregations) to audit operational datasets and validate solution metrics.
- Agile & SDLC Methodologies: Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts, Agile/Scrum frameworks, sprint planning, and managing backlog items in tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Capability to draft UAT test scripts, coordinate acceptance testing with business end-users, log defect tickets, and track issue resolution ahead of deployment.
- Stakeholder Management & Facilitation: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to ask probing discovery questions, facilitate requirements workshops, and align expectations across non-technical and technical teams.
- Problem-Solving & Systems Thinking: Strong logical reasoning and diagnostic skills to break down complex operational bottlenecks, identify root causes, and propose practical, tech-enabled improvements.
- Documentation & Business Writing: Exceptional written communication skills to write clear, structured Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), meeting minutes, and user guides.
- Professional Attributes: High organizational ability, adaptability in fast-paced environments, continuous eagerness to learn corporate strategy and technology stacks, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
