About the role

As a Grill Chef at 6HEAD, you’ll be at the heart of the kitchen, responsible for delivering perfectly cooked steaks and exceptional dishes every service. Working with premium cuts and a high-quality grill, you’ll manage your section with precision, consistency, and pride. This is a hands‑on role where technical skill, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential.

What we’re looking for





Experience cooking over a charcoal or open-flame grill

Butchery and dry‑ageing experience (highly regarded)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-volume professional kitchen

Solid understanding of premium meat cuts, cooking temperatures, and resting

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience

Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high‑pressure kitchen

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Strong food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards

Passion for quality produce and delivering exceptional food

Commitment to OHS and workplace compliance

Adaptable availability across a 7-day rotating roster
