About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday) based at our Tamworth site.

As a Workforce Adviser for our Workforce Australia department, you will work closely with people from diverse backgrounds to support them in progressing through the specific barriers they each face when it comes to looking for employment. Responsible for fostering relationships with local jobseekers, employers, businesses, and community resources, you will support your customers along their journeys to meaningful employment within your local community. BEST prides itself on ensuring that appropriate matches with employment are made, with the needs and passions of the customer at the forefront of the services we provide.

At times, the position may require day travel to provide operational support to surrounding areas, where access to a company vehicle will be provided.

About You:





You will be a self-motivated and resilient individual with:

- A positive attitude, exceptional people skills and a customer focus.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to multitask.
- Strong community focus and passion for helping individuals achieve their personal and professional goals.
- A demonstrated ability to take initiative when completing tasks.
- A demonstrated ability to confidently manage conflict to achieve positive outcomes.
- A demonstrated ability to build, maintain and grow qualified relationships with a diverse range of people and groups.
- Previous experience in client-advocacy and barrier management (desired).
- Previous administration, customer service or case management experience (desired).
- Class C Driver's Licence
- Clear National Criminal History Check
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
