Timbertop(approximately 245 students) is a boarding campus for all Year 9 students,locatednear Mt Buller in Victoria's Alps.All teaching staff live on thecampusand students spend the entire year at Timbertop taking part in hiking, recreational and community service activities.

The Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from passionate and dedicated teachers for full time positionscommencingin Term 1, 2027. Applicants withexpertisein one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

- Japanese
- Art
- Mathematics
- Campus Head of Learning and Teaching (Position of Responsibility)
- Chaplaincy(Position of Responsibility)

While these are our current priority areas, we welcome applications from teachers in other subject disciplines and will consider candidates based on campus needs and the teaching methods they hold. Both ongoing and fixed-term opportunities are available.

Applicantsresideon campus andmustbe able toparticipatefully in theSchool’soutdoor education journeys, running, pastoral and wellbeing programmes.

What you will be doing

- Contributing to co-curricular programs and broader initiativesacross theSchool’scampuses




- Participating in professional learning, reflectivepracticeand continuous improvement activities
- Undertakingadministrative,organisationaland supervisory requirements
- Enablingstudent wellbeing through pastoral care, relationshipbuildingand activeengagement with families
- Other duties asrequiredcommensuratewith your teaching role

What we are looking for

- An experienced educator with a strong teaching backgroundin middle and/or senior years
- Passionate about contemporary pedagogy and adolescent development
- Strong curriculum design and planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students, parents,staffand externals stakeholders
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with the capacity to work across faculties and with external partners
- Strong organisational and planning skills, withexcellentattention to detail
