We are currently seeking a Centre Cook to join our Kindalin family.

In this role, you’ll prepare fresh, nutritious meals that nourish our children and support their growth and wellbeing each day, while confidently managing the kitchen Monday to Friday. ⭐Position requirements:

- Must be able to work Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.
- Ability to confidently follow recipes, portion guides and menu plans
- Strong understanding of children’s dietary requirements, allergies and food intolerances
- Ability to maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked kitchen setting
- Strong time management skills to ensure meals and snacks are prepared and served on time
- Confidence working independently while also being part of a supportive Centre team
- A warm, positive and friendly approach when interacting with children, educators and families
- Ability to communicate clearly with Centre teams regarding menus, allergies, stock and daily food preparation
- Willingness to support light kitchen duties, including cleaning, ordering, stock rotation and maintaining food safety records
- An understanding of the importance of providing nutritious meals that support children’s health,



wellbeing and development
- Food Handlers/Food Safety Certificate required
- Applicants must hold a valid Working with Children Check and Police Check, or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement
- Permanent residency in Australia
- Must have completed GEKKO Certification
- Flexibility to work across any of our nine Hills District Centres, providing cover and additional support to our Centre Cooks as required.
