Located in the heart of Peregian Beach, Bask Restaurant is a two Chef-Hatted paddock-to-plate restaurant focused on seasonal produce, refined coastal dining and old-school hospitality. Known for our renowned Long Lunches, curated wine events and warm European-inspired dining experience, BASK celebrates the Sunshine Coast’s exceptional local produce through a seasonal and creative menu.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Cook to join our growing kitchen team.
About the Role The successful candidate will work closely with our chefs to assist in the preparation and service of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced fine dining environment.
Key responsibilities include
- Preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard
- Assisting with mise en place and daily kitchen preparation
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and consistency
- Working collaboratively within a professional kitchen team
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a professional restaurant kitchen.
- Experience in busy restaurant environments and fine dining venues is highly preferred.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills.
- A passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail.
- We are looking for creative and passionate chefs who can bring fresh ideas, new flavours, and innovative dishes.
- Must have full working rights in Australia. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
