Located on the stunning Mornington Peninsula, Portsea Hotel is looking for a passionate and driven Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a busy, high-volume environment and wants to develop their skills alongside an experienced and supportive kitchen team.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
- A genuine passion for food and developing your culinary skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

- Solid time management and organisational skills

- High standards of food quality, presentation and consistency

- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
- A calm, professional and positive approach under pressure

- Willingness to learn,



take direction and support your fellow chefs

- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

- Must have own transport or reside in the area

What you'll be doing

As part of the Portsea Hotel kitchen team, you will:

- Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of your section

- Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard

- Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and hygiene standards

- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team

- Assist with preparation, service and kitchen organisation

- Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen culture

- Continue developing your culinary skills and knowledge
