KUDRAT VENTURES PTY LTD is looking for a skilled and dependable Two Chefs to join its kitchen team in Prahran, Victoria.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals, supporting day-to-day kitchen operations and ensuring food is prepared in accordance with established standards.

Main Duties

- Prepare and cook a range of dishes in accordance with menu specifications.
- Organise daily mise en place and coordinate food preparation.
- Ensure meals are consistently presented to a high standard.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
- Maintain proper food storage, handling and hygiene practices.
- Assist with menu planning and introduce suitable dishes when required.
- Coordinate kitchen activities during busy trading periods.
- Monitor ingredient usage and assist with stock management.
- Control portions and minimise unnecessary food waste.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, work areas and preparation surfaces in a clean and safe condition.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen and service staff.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.




- Relevant commercial cookery qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Sound understanding of food preparation, cooking methods and food safety.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for kitchen duties.
- Skilled, punctual and reliable approach to employment.
