About the Role:

The D’Arcy Arms, located on the beautiful Gold Coast, is seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality cuisine to our guests, ensuring all dishes consistently meet our standards for taste, presentation and quality, while contributing to the efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist with the preparation of a la carte dishes and menu items for special occasions and functions.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all dishes prepared in the kitchen.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and compliant with local health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and receiving food items.
- Support the management of food costs to remain within budget.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any faults or required repairs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient kitchen operations.




- Foster positive relationships with both staff and patrons.
- Undertake other duties as required by the Manager.

About You: The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

- Proven culinary experience and strong technical cooking skills.
- Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene standards, and safe food handling practices.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A team-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Creativity and knowledge of flavours, ingredients, and presentation.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing requirements or special events.
- A willingness to contribute across all areas of kitchen operations.

Salary ranging from $75,000 - $77,000
