We are looking for a full-time motor mechanic to join our dedicated team at Oriental Car Removal in Kenwick, WA. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of vehicles. As a key member of our automotive trades team, you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers' cars are kept running smoothly and safely.
What you'll be doing
- Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing on vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- Replacing worn or faulty parts and components
- Conducting test drives to ensure all repairs have been carried out effectively
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work completed
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
- Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's licence
