About the role
We are seeking a People & Culture Lead to join our Perth WA office on a part-time basis.
This is a diverse and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will provide expert advice across the full employee lifecycle while driving initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, organisational culture and workplace wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
1. Develop and implement people and culture initiatives that enhance employee engagement
2. Lead recruitment and selection processes, including job design, advertising, interviewing and onboarding of new staff members
3. Manage employee relations matters, including performance management, discipline, grievances and conflict resolution
4. Design and coordinate learning and development initiatives that support staff capability and career progression
5. Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives, communication strategies and cultural development activities
6. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice HR standards
7. Manage HR administration, including maintaining confidential employee records, HR policies and systems

Provide HR support and advice to managers and senior leadership on people-related matters
9. Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
10. Champion diversity, inclusion and workplace wellbeing initiatives
What we're looking for
1. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Organisational development or a related discipline
2. Demonstrated experience in Human Resources or People and Culture roles (minimum 4 years)
3. Experience with Australian employment law, interpreting Awards, Enterprise agreements and industrial relations setting
4. Proven experience in recruitment and selection, including experience managing recruitment campaigns, employee surveys and onboarding processes
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation
6. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that drive engagement and retention
7. Strong organisational and project management capabilities with excellent attention to detail
8. Experience in using Employment Hero or a comparable HRIS/payroll system
9. Experience working in not-for-profit, healthcare or union environments (preferred)
