Mt Barker & Balhannah Medical Clinics are seeking a friendly, team-oriented, Clinical Support Registered Nurse to join our rapidly growing practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across two well-established clinics in a supportive and professional environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide operational support to the Nurse Team Leader and help ensure the efficient operation of the treatment room. This role will work closely with the Nurse Team Leader and will assume core nursing leadership responsibilities when the Nurse Team Leader is on leave or otherwise unavailable.
- Provide leadership and clinical support to the nursing team, acting as the primary point of contact in the Nurse Team Leader's absence
- Assist with staff rostering
- Child and adult immunisations
- Travel vaccinations
- Wound care and management
- Spirometry and ECGs
- Assisting GPs with minor procedures (e.g., IUD insertion/removal/excisions)
- Result and reminder follow-up calls
- Infection control and cold chain compliance
- Patient triage support
- Ordering and managing consumables
- Chronic disease management and Care Plans
- Infusion's
· Essential Requirements
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- National immunisation accreditation course completed
- Valid CPR certification
- Current National Police Clearance
- Working with Children and Vulnerable People Clearance
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Legal right to work in Australia (no sponsorship available)
- Competent computer skills
- Previous experience in a general practice setting is essential
