As the Packaging Foreman, you will play a crucial role and provide solid leadership, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. In this full-time role, you will lead, coach, and support your team to achieve production targets while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing hands-on leadership, support and mentoring to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of the bagging line team to ensure all production targets and quality standards are met.
- Monitoring workflow, productivity and safety, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Liaising with other supervisors, managers and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination across the business.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations to drive operational efficiencies.
- Ensuring all relevant policies, procedures and health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on team performance and other key metrics.
