We're now looking for an experienced Carpentry Supervisor with strong stick roofing carpentry skills to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing carpentry teams across residential and commercial projects in the Perth region. You'll be responsible for supervising site teams, maintaining quality standards, supporting Team Leaders, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard — with a strong focus on roofing.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 4+ years as a qualified Carpenter

- Must hold either Certificate III or IV in Carpentry

- Proven experience with stick roofing, wall framing, sub floors and cladding

- Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards and building codes

- Leadership experience or readiness to step into a supervisory role

- Minimum 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience required

- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills





- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

- Safety-focused mindset

- Strong problem-solving skills on site

- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

- White Card and valid driver's licence

- Must be an Australian citizen

A-Player attitude with a genuine passion for carpentry and leadership

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise Team Leaders and on-site carpentry teams

- Oversee and carry out high-quality roof framing works

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, and progress

- Ensure all works meet company and client standards

- Coordinate labour, materials, and tools

- Liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders

- Identify and rectify defects and quality issues

- Mentor carpenters and apprentices

- Provide feedback to improve efficiency and quality

B & P Carpentry started in 2017 as two Western Australian carpenters from Bunbury who went out on our own with a mission to change the construction industry.

We built this business on reliability, accountability, teamwork, and doing what we say we'll do.

That approach has taken us from a two-man crew to 30 full-time employees, and we're just getting started.
