About the Chance
We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand - Operations for a full time position, based at the Coburn site near Shark Bay - this is a FIFO/DIDO position depending on location for a 2:1 roster D&N;
About You
- Minimum of 2yrs experience in a leading hand position
- Proven experience in earthmoving equipment and maintenance procedures
- Section 26 Statutory Supervisor course
- Proven experience in the supervision and management of personnel
- Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen
Responsibilities
- Constant checks of: Mining units, pit floor and face, haul and secondary access roads and utilisation and safety of equipment
- Report any machinery damage,
personal injuries sustained by employees or health conditions/fitness for work issues, unsafe acts, improvement immediately to the direct Supervisor
- Complete all appropriate clerical work when required on a daily basis - daily handover sheet, workplace inspection form, ensure employees complete daily work logs, any permits required and distribute notices
