We currently have openings for qualified boilermakers based between Cardiff & Singleton, with a focus on CHPP operations across various sites. These positions involve the management, maintenance, and repair of surface mining equipment and fixed assets.

** Key Responsibilities **
- Ability to interpret drawings and perform site marking and setting out tasks
- Maintain physical fitness and motivation
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Exhibit excellent time management skills
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Successfully pass medical and police checks
** Essential Criteria **
- Proven commitment to safe work practices
- Fabrication trade qualifications and experience in a heavy industrial or mining setting
- Effective communication skills that foster positive interpersonal relations within work teams
- Proficient in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings; skilled in marking, cutting with an oxy cutter, grinding, and gouging
- Experience in welding across all positions using flux-core, MIG, and stick methods
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults efficiently
- Coordination in requesting necessary spare parts and parts planning
- Capability to identify faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Conduct inspections, installations, and maintenance/repairs on equipment
- EWP, Forklift, Dogman, and Rigger tickets are highly regarded
