We are a small, privately owned first aid training business based in Townsville. Our friendly and supportive team delivers practical, engaging training through scheduled public courses and tailored programs for corporate clients.

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced trainers for multiple roles within the business.

Manager/Lead Trainer

Full-time or part-time

This is a hands on leadership position combining the delivery of first aid training with responsibility for the day to day coordination of the business.

Responsibilities may include:

- Delivering public and corporate first aid and CPR courses

- Coordinating course schedules and trainer availability

- Managing client relationships

- Overseeing course preparation, equipment and training resources

- Ensuring training records and documentation are completed accurately

- Supporting compliance and quality assurance

- Providing leadership and support to casual trainers

- Assisting with administration and general business operations

- Identifying opportunities to develop and grow the business

The position may be structured as full-time or part-time, with flexibility around working hours and days.

Casual/Contract First Aid Trainers

Our casual/Contract trainers will support the delivery of public and corporate courses based on course demand and availability.

Responsibilities may include:





- Delivering engaging and compliant first aid and CPR training

- Preparing training rooms, equipment and course resources

- Conducting assessments and completing course documentation

- Providing a professional and supportive experience for participants

- Maintaining current training and industry knowledge

- Assisting with corporate or off site training

These positions offer flexible hours and working days and may suit trainers seeking additional work around other employment or commitments.

About you

You will be a confident, approachable and engaging trainer who enjoys helping people develop practical, potentially lifesaving skills.

To be considered, you must hold:

- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a recognised equivalent (or willing to obtain with sound first aid experience)

- Relevant first aid and CPR qualifications (specific training and professional development can be provided)

- A current driver licence and reliable transport

You will also ideally have:

- Experience delivering first aid or related training

- Strong presentation and communication skills

- Good organisation, time management and recordkeeping skills

- A professional, reliable and flexible approach





- Confidence using computers and general administration systems

Applicants are not required to hold every unit of competency delivered by the business at the time of application. Specific training and professional development can be provided to help suitable applicants attain additional units of competency as required.

Experience in emergency services, healthcare, workplace safety, education or corporate training will be highly regarded.

Applicants interested in the Manager/Lead Trainer position should also have experience in business operations, administration, client management, staff coordination or a similar leadership role.
