The Role

We're seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Cash & Carry Sales Assistant to join our Operations team.

This role is the face of our Cash & Carry store, responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting day-to-day retail operations. You'll assist customers with product selection, promote special offers and new product launches, maintain store presentation standards, and help ensure stock is accurately managed and readily available.

Working closely with customers and colleagues, you'll play an important role in driving sales, building customer loyalty, and contributing to the success of the Haircare Group retail experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver exceptional customer service through face-to-face, phone, and email interactions
- Assist customers with product recommendations and purchasing decisions
- Promote current deals, special offers, and current product launches
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently




- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and organisation
- Receive, unpack, and replenish stock as required
- Set up and maintain promotional displays and merchandising activities
- Participate in stocktakes and inventory management activities
- Monitor stock levels and report stock issues as required
- Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain accurate customer and product information within company systems
- Follow company policies, safety requirements, and operational procedures
- Contribute positively to a cooperative and customer-focused team environment

What You'll Bring

- Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, or a similar customer-facing role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Retail merchandising and store presentation experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive approach to work
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
- Qualified Hairdresser preferred
- Knowledge of professional haircare products highly regarded
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
