Role Description The Claims Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Campbellfield, VIC. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing insurance-related claims for construction and property projects, including specialty insurance work. Day-to-day tasks include receiving and assessing claim documentation, liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, clients, and internal project teams, and maintaining accurate claim records and tracking systems.
The role involves preparing reports and updates on claim progress, monitoring claim timelines and budgets,
and supporting the resolution of claim issues to ensure fair and timely outcomes.
The Claims
Coordinator collaborates closely with operations and project managers to align claim activities with construction schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Claims Management and Claims Handling skills, including end-to-end coordination of insurance claims in construction or property environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Insurance knowledge, particularly in property, construction, and specialty insurance claims.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review documentation, interpret policy terms, and identify risks or discrepancies in claim information.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with insurers, clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in construction, property, or insurance industries, with familiarity in Australian building and insurance practices.
- Ability to work in office in Campbellfield, VIC, with strong time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with office software and claims or project management systems; experience with ISO-certified environments is an advantage.
- Certificate or diploma in insurance, construction management, business, or a related field is beneficial.
