Truck Onsite Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in the Ravenhall and Burnside area within the Melton region, our Australian-owned and operated company specialises in the comprehensive servicing, repair, and ongoing maintenance of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. We proudly support clients operating across the transport, logistics, and freight sectors, ensuring their fleets remain reliable, safe, and operational.

In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in our workshop operations by diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of heavy commercial vehicles. We are looking for a reliable professional who takes pride in their workmanship and is committed to upholding high industry standards in mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities for this position typically include:

- Conducting routine servicing, scheduled maintenance, and thorough inspections of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Performing repairs, component overhauls,



and replacements on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and steering.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate service records and communicating repair requirements clearly with the team.
- Maintaining a clean, secure, and organized working environment within the workshop.

To be successful in this role, you should possess relevant trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent mechanical background, along with practical experience working on heavy commercial vehicles. A strong understanding of heavy transport equipment, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary of AUD $80,000 plus superannuation.
