Music Retail Sales Assistant - Musical Instruments

Planet Music is a musical instrument store located in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW. We stock a huge range of new and used guitars, amps, drums, keyboards, brass and woodwind, orchestral strings, print music and accessories. We enjoy playing an important role in the thriving music community of Lismore and beyond. The store creates a fun and relaxed environment that celebrates diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications & experience

Prior experience in retail sales.

The ability to play a musical instrument - at least intermediate level on guitar and some keyboard skills will be highly regarded.

Computer literate with experience in POS systems and communicating via email.

Availability to work Saturdays until 1pm.





Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in preferably in a retail environment.

Experience with PA system and recording technology will be highly regarded but not essential.

Tasks & responsibilities

Sales of all musical instruments and associated equipment.

Greeting of customers in store, providing them with a high standard of customer service.

Assist in maintaining the showroom floor, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring displays are constantly restocked and presentable.

Assist with inventory management and processing orders.

Work as part of a team.

Be part of a team who support and encourage each other.
