Our continued growth has created an exciting chance for a Counter Sales / Store person to work from our Victoria Branch in Port Melbourne.
The ideal candidate will join our team and will help to increase product output and assist with the growth of our business. This role will require the successful applicant to be capable of delivering goods to building sites and building customer relationships, plus packing stock and assisting our team with counter sales.
This role is full time with hours between 6:30am – 3:30pm weekdays. No weekend / Public Holidays or after hours work.
Duties:
Main duties/responsibilities:
Full time store person with picking orders and counter sales
Walkie stacker operation
Unloading & loading trucks
Maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse
Booking in freight via online portals and over the phone
Occasional site deliveries may be required
Full training provided
Skills & Experience:
A Full current Driver License
Driven and self-motivated, with the ability to work unsupervised
Good customer service and communication skills
Previous delivery driving and/or warehouse experience would be an advantage but not essential
High attention to detail
