Mont Capital is looking for a driven and ambitious Credit Analyst to join our growing team.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a genuine career in lending and credit, not simply process loans.

You’ll initially develop a strong foundation across residential lending, working closely with our brokers and credit team to structure, assess and progress transactions from application through to settlement. As your experience develops, you'll gain increasing exposure to commercial and business lending, including more complex credit scenarios.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, commercially minded and motivated to learn. You could already be working in banking, mortgage broking or finance, or you may be in the final year of a relevant university degree and looking for the right opportunity to start your career.

What you'll be doing

- Assist with the assessment, structuring and preparation of residential and commercial lending applications.
- Review client financial information including income, liabilities, bank statements and supporting documentation.
- Prepare high-quality loan submissions and supporting credit analysis.
- Research lender policies and identify suitable lending solutions for different client scenarios.
- Liaise with clients, brokers, banks and non-bank lenders throughout the application process.
- Work with our team to progress applications from initial assessment through to approval and settlement.
- Develop an understanding of business financials, servicing, security structures and commercial credit.
- Maintain accurate client and deal information within our CRM and lending systems.
- Take increasing ownership of transactions as your knowledge and experience grows.

Experience

Experience within mortgage broking, banking, credit or lending is highly regarded, particularly if you’ve had exposure to loan applications, credit assessment or lender policy.

However, we’re equally interested in high-performing candidates who are at the beginning of their careers.

You may be

- In your final year of a degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting,



Economics, Business or a related field.
- Working in a mortgage brokerage and looking to develop stronger credit and commercial lending skills.
- Working within a bank or lender and looking for broader exposure to different lenders and transaction types.
- An early-career finance professional looking to build a long-term career in credit and commercial finance.

Previous commercial or business lending experience would be highly regarded, but it isn’t essential. We’ll invest in the right person who demonstrates the attitude, aptitude and drive to learn. Why Mont Capital?
