Role : Customer Data Platform Lead

We are seeking an experienced Customer Data Platform Lead to lead the design, build and delivery of a modern customer data platform supporting a major Customer Transformation Program. The role will oversee platform architecture, data modelling,



data synchronisation and data product development to support new Billing and CRM capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of Customer Data Platform initiatives, including planning, execution, testing and operationalisation.
- Lead the design and delivery of data architecture, data layers, data products and integration points.
- Oversee data modelling to support billing, CRM, reporting, analytics and AI requirements.
- Drive data synchronisation solutions and support dual-run capabilities.
- Translate current and future data requirements into platform and data product specifications.
- Embed data lineage, cataloguing and metadata management into the platform.
- Manage stakeholders across Technology, Business, Data and Architecture teams.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary data platform team.

Key Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in data platform engineering, data architecture or data engineering.
- Proven experience delivering cloud-based data platforms, including data modelling, data layers and data products.
- Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture, Data Mesh or equivalent modern data platform approaches.
- Experience with data synchronisation, enterprise integration patterns and APIs.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Databricks or Snowflake highly desirable.
- Strong Agile/Hybrid delivery, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Energy retail or CRM/Billing platform experience, particularly Kraken, is advantageous.
