The Opportunity

Are you an experienced recruitment consultant ready to take your career to the next level in one of Australia's most robust and enduring sectors? We are looking for a driven Senior or Principal Consultant to join our Building division in Sydney, specialising in the placement of specialist Construction talent across leading contractors, developers, and client-side organisations.

This is a genuine 360 billing role — you'll own the full recruitment cycle, from business development and client relationship management through to candidate sourcing, assessment, and offer management. You'll be operating in a market characterised by strong and sustained activity across commercial, residential, mixed-use and industrial asset classes, where the very best construction professionals are always in high demand.

The Market You'll Work In

You'll be recruiting across the full construction landscape, partnering with clients that include:

- Tier 1, 2 and 3 main contractors
- Developer-builders across residential, commercial and mixed-use projects
- Specialist subcontractors and trade contractors
- Client-side project and programme management organisations
- Fit-out and refurbishment contractors
- Public sector and government construction delivery bodies

Roles you'll place will span site management, project management, contracts administration, estimating, quantity surveying, procurement, commercial management, and senior leadership — from experienced site-based professionals through to Project Director and executive level appointments.

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates at Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant level. What matters most is your track record and your drive. You'll bring:

- Proven experience as a 360 recruitment consultant, ideally within construction, property, engineering, or a related technical or skilled services discipline
- A strong business development mindset with the confidence to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across contractors,



developers and client-side organisations
- Experience or genuine interest in the Construction sector (sector knowledge is advantageous but not essential — what you know about recruiting and building a desk matters most)
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team culture
- Ambition to grow — whether that's building a desk from strength to strength or progressing into a leadership role over time
