GARMENT TECHNICIAN / PRODUCT DEVELOPER - FULL TIME POSITION

STAGE II is a dynamic clothing company, based in South Geelong with offices situated throughout Australasia.

The ongoing growth of STAGE II PTY LTD has created an exciting opportunity for a product developer in our youth ladies wear team.

We are seeking a passionate experienced and Full Time Product Developer / Garment technician.

With a strong wholesale sector across all our brands, and a rapidly growing retail presence, STAGE II are responsible for, and proud of, our well-known, market leading brands including: All About Eve, Silent Theory, St Goliath, Elm, Eve Girl, St. Goliath Boys, and Eve Girl to name a few.

JOB SUMMARY / AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Working in partnership with Product Team and suppliers, your technical skills will contribute and bring life to the garment lifecycle:

- Being responsible for the fit, workmanship and QC issues that arise at the proto and PP samples stages to meet and maintain our high-quality standards.

- Liaise with offshore offices, suppliers and Production team on any potential delays.

- Exceptional eye for technical detail to consistently ensure standards are being met and with the correct documentation is used and followed.

- Working closely with Design in developing brand specific garments

IF YOU THRIVE IN A FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT, HAVE EXPERIENCE AND A OUTSTANDING WORKING KNOWLEDGE IN:





- Background in pattern making with specific in-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabrications, fit, shape, trims etc.

- Qualifications in Fashion Design or related field

- A thirst for high-pressure situations with an ability to prioritise conflicting demands and adapt to meet regularly changing needs.

- Can work closely within a team as well as the ability to act autonomously.

- Foster and manage positive working relationships across departments. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

- Comprehensive Adobe Suite Knowledge, proficient in Illustrator.

- Intermediate Excel experience.
