About the role

Third Wave BBQ Applecross is seeking enthusiastic and personable FOH & Bar Staff to join our hospitality team. This is a casual position based in Applecross, WA 6153, offering flexible work arrangements perfect for those seeking part-time or casual employment. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service whilst maintaining our high standards of hospitality. You will work both front-of-house and behind the bar, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining and drinking experience. This position is fundamental to creating the welcoming atmosphere that defines Third Wave BBQ Applecross.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting guests warmly and seating them in designated areas whilst managing table flow and capacity

2. Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilising point-of-sale systems

3. Serving food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail

4. Preparing and mixing cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards

5. Operating the bar with efficiency whilst maintaining stock levels and cleanliness

6. Processing payments and managing cash or card transactions securely

7. Clearing and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment

8. Responding to guest enquiries and resolving any concerns with courtesy and problem-solving skills

9. Collaborating with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service delivery

10. Maintaining compliance with responsible service of alcohol guidelines and venue policies

11. Supporting general opening and closing procedures including stock rotation and deep cleaning tasks

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in hospitality, bar work or front-of-house service roles (desirable but not essential for training-ready candidates)

2. Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers

3. A friendly,



outgoing personality with genuine enthusiasm for customer service

4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure

5. Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beers and wines, or willingness to develop these skills

6. Responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification or willingness to obtain it

7. Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and carry items safely

8. Attention to detail and organisational skills

9. Flexibility with shift times, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

10. Team player mentality with a positive attitude towards collaboration
