Attcall SA is seeking a highly experienced Transport Manager to lead and oversee our growing haulage and heavy haulage operations.
The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of demonstrated experience managing fleets of 100+ trucks, with extensive knowledge of transport compliance, safety, and operational performance within the heavy vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise a large fleet across haulage and heavy haulage operations
- Ensure compliance with NHVL, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), mass management, and fatigue management requirements
- Oversee fleet maintenance programs to maximise vehicle availability and reliability
- Lead, mentor, and support drivers and operational staff
- Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor operational performance, resource allocation, and transport efficiency
Essential Experience & Skills
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Transport Management
- Proven experience managing fleets of 100+ trucks
- Strong background in bulk haulage and heavy haulage operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of NHVL regulations
- Expertise in mass, fatigue, maintenance, and compliance management
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of transport operations, scheduling, and logistics planning
