Role Description The Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) will support the platform’s work by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to legal scholarships, courses, and volunteering opportunities. This part-time hybrid role is based in Sydney, NSW, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and validating datasets, performing basic statistical analysis, and building simple data models to understand trends in user engagement and opportunity distribution. The role also involves preparing clear reports and visual summaries, collaborating with content and operations teams to improve data quality, and helping identify gaps or new areas for platform development. The analyst will contribute to evidence-based decision-making, helping ensure that opportunities are targeted, accessible, and impactful for youth and students.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and a foundational understanding of Data Analytics.




- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Statistics and experience applying statistical concepts to real-world data.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess introductory Data Modeling skills, including organizing and structuring data for analysis.
- Relevant qualifications may include a degree or current studies in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and entry-level analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is beneficial.
- Interest in the legal sector, youth development, or education-focused platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and maintain accuracy with detailed datasets.
