We are seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver to join the team at OZ STRUT PTY LTD. This is a full-time position based in Seven Hills NSW 2147. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products reach customers safely and on time, maintaining the high standards of service that define our company. This position is essential to our logistics operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and business success.
What you'll be doing
- Operating delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to customer destinations
- Planning and managing delivery routes to optimise time and fuel efficiency
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care and stored securely
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation, including delivery confirmations and signatures
- Conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition
- Communicating with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Reporting any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Adhering to all traffic laws, company policies and health and safety regulations
- Supporting warehouse and logistics operations as needed to meet delivery schedules
What we're looking for
- Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle class being operated
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the logistics or warehousing sector
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly
- Clear communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions clearly
- A clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery management software is advantageous
- First Aid or defensive driving certification is preferred but not essential
