Location: Site based – Badgingarra, WA, FIFO / DIDO

Employment: Contract role for duration of project construction

Position Description: Principal’s Representative – Deputy Site Manager (WIND / Renewable Projects)

Role Purpose The Principal’s Representative – Deputy Site Manager acts as the Principal’s on-site representative and supports the Site Manager in providing independent oversight, monitoring and reporting of all construction activities across WIND, BESS and/or Solar projects.

The role works in close collaboration with the Principal's Site Manager and Principal's HSE Manager to maintain visibility of site progress, safety performance, quality outcomes, contractor compliance and project risks. The role provides continuity of Principal oversight through a rotating roster arrangement and may periodically fulfil the Site Manager function during roster rotations, leave periods or other project requirements.

The role is focused on monitoring and reporting project performance, identifying emerging risks and supporting informed decision-making by the Principal. Responsibility for construction execution, means, methods and sequencing remains with the Principal Contractor.

This role is site-based and operates on a 2:1 roster, subject to final confirmation.

Key Responsibilities

Site Oversight and Interface Management





- Act as the Principal's on-site representative and deputy to the Site Manager across all construction activities from mobilisation through to practical completion.
- Maintain continuity of Principal representation on site through participation in a rotating roster arrangement with the Site Manager.
- Support the Site Manager in monitoring construction progress, project risks, constraints and emerging issues across all work fronts.
- Assume Site Manager responsibilities during roster rotations, leave periods or as otherwise required by the Principal.
- Monitor site activities across civil, mechanical, electrical and commissioning scopes and assess alignment with approved plans and schedules.
- Support coordination of interfaces between EPC Contractor, D&C; Contractor, Network Service Provider and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed site records and provide timely reporting to the Site Manager, Project Manager and broader Principal team.

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Oversight
- Work closely with the Principal's HSE Manager to monitor and report on contractor HSE performance and compliance.
- Support site safety inspections, audits, observations and incident reviews.
- Assist in monitoring corrective actions, investigations and close out of safety-related findings.
- Provide visible leadership in promoting safe work practices and positive safety behaviours across the project.
- Support management of environmental compliance and monitoring activities in conjunction with the HSE Manager.

Reporting and Stakeholder Management
- Provide coordinated reporting to the Atmos Management, Project Manager, Atmos Site Manager and HSE Manager on construction progress,



HSE performance, quality outcomes and key risks.
- Support preparation of daily, weekly and monthly project reporting requirements.
- Ensure effective handover of information and issues between Site Manager and Deputy Site Manager during roster rotations.

Required Experience

- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in construction, site supervision, project engineering, HSE leadership or site-based project delivery roles.
- Demonstrated experience on utility-scale renewable energy or power infrastructure projects, with wind project experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary contractor interfaces and site activities.
- Solid understanding of construction, commissioning and HSE management processes.
- Ability to effectively represent the Principal in a site-based environment and provide independent oversight of contractor activities.

Required Qualifications

- Relevant certificate or degree in construction, engineering or related discipline.
- Qualification or certification in Work Health & Safety.
- Exposure to quality management systems and practices.
- Current training such as First Aid, Fire Warden, or equivalent (desirable).
