General Manager – Sydney NSW Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are working with Southeast Asia’s logistics tech powerhouse—delivering cutting-edge warehouse automation and supply chain solutions to the region’s biggest retailers. With over a decade of success and innovation, they’re expanding into Australia and the wider Asia Pacific market. Now they’re looking for a visionary General Manager to lead the charge.

- Salary: Generous salary package $175k to $185k plus applicable super per annum

Clients include major supermarket chains, distributors, and e-commerce leaders across Southeast Asia—and now, they’re ready to go global.

Responsibilities and deliverables

As General Manager, you’ll be the architect of our client’s regional growth. This is a hands-on, high‑impact leadership role where you’ll:

- Launch & Scale: Lead market entry strategy and build operations across Australia and the region.
- Establish Presence: Set up offices, teams, and business units from the ground up.
- Drive Growth: Identify and secure major clients in retail, wholesale, distribution, and e-commerce.
- Build a Team: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing local workforce.
- Deliver Excellence: Oversee implementation of logistics, warehousing, and transportation solutions.
- Ensure Compliance: You’ll need to be on top of Australian business,



tax, and labour regulations
- Own Relationships: Manage senior client partnerships and enterprise‑level engagements.
- Forge Alliances: Develop strategic partnerships with tech vendors, consultants, and 3PLs.
- Be the Brand: Represent our client at industry events and forums as a thought leader.
- Lead Financials: Own P&L;, budgeting, KPI tracking, and cost control for the region.
- Report Globally: Collaborate closely with HQ in Vietnam and report to global leadership.

To be considered, you will need to offer the following skills and attributes:

- At least 5 years of proven strategic leadership and business expansion experience in Southeast Asia (and at least 1 or more years professional experience at similar high impact levels)
- Deep expertise in warehouse automation and logistics technologies (WMS, ERP, TMS, SaaS-based delivery systems)
- Robust track record in supply chain cost optimization and KPI management across SE Asia.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-cultural communication, especially within Southeast Asian markets
- Data-driven decision maker with hands-on experience using tools like Power BI and ERP/WMS platforms
- Be a native (or highly competent) Vietnamese speaker with fluent English skills (written and spoken)
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Certified in Leadership Development, Logistics Management, and trained in International Supply Chain Operations
- Commercially savvy with strong client relationship skills
- Comfortable building from scratch and leading cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
