As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behaviour or health to the supervising staff.
- Encourage and promote independence and self-advocacy among clients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in disability, aged care, community services or a similar role is desirable
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check, where applicable
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed or willingness to complete
- Right to work in Australia
- Must be mostly available and flexible between Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm
