You'll support people with complex needs living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments to engage meaningfully in daily routines, household activities and community life. You'll work alongside clients to support their goals, wellbeing and independence while providing consistent, person-centred care., Our Disability Support Workers practice Person Centred Active Support (PCAS) and may be required to:
- Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and their families
- Implement positive behaviour support strategies
- Provide physical support including manual handling and transfers
- Assist with personal care, medication, meals and household tasks
- Support planning, advocacy, transport and community access
