Our client is a well-established civil construction contractor delivering essential infrastructure projects across the Darwin region and surrounding areas. With multiple projects located up to 100km from Darwin, they specialise in water, power, and civil works etc. and offer long-term opportunities for experienced operators. Due to continued project growth, they are seeking skilled Excavator Operators to join their team.
Your new role
As an Excavator Operator, you will work across a range of civil and construction projects involving utility installations, bulk earthworks, trenching, and final trim activities. Projects are primarily based within the Darwin region, with potential FIFO 2:1 opportunities available on selected sites. You will work alongside experienced crews to deliver critical water and power infrastructure safely and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience operating excavators on civil construction projects
- Experience working around underground services, including water and power infrastructure
- Ability to perform trenching, bulk earthworks, backfilling, and final trim work
- Relevant plant operator tickets
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote project environments
