Yahweh Care is looking for a caring, reliable and compassionate Female Disability Support Worker to support an NDIS participant in the Kenthurst area.
This position is suitable for both experienced support workers and people who are new to the disability support industry. Starters are welcome to apply; however, all required NDIS worker screening, checks and compliance documents must be completed and current before commencing shifts.
Female applicants are sought due to the participant's personal care needs and preference.
About the Role
Depending on the participant's needs, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing respectful and person-centred disability support
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
- Supporting the participant at home
- Community access and social participation
- Transport to appointments and community activities
- Meal preparation and light domestic assistance
- Following the participant's support plan and daily routine
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation
- Supporting the participant's independence, dignity, choice and control

- Committed to providing protected and person-centred support

Mandatory Requirements Before Starting
Successful applicants must have or complete all required compliance checks before commencing work, including:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Own reliable and insured vehicle – mandatory
- Relevant right-to-work documentation
- Any additional screening or training required for the participant's individual support needs
A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or a related field is desirable but not essential for suitable applicants willing to learn. Why Join Yahweh Care?
