About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Store Hand and Customer Service Representative to join our team at Brookies Rural Traders' in Capalaba, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will see you play a key role in the efficient operation of our busy Rural Store. We are open to casual applicants but our strong preference is for someone looking to start a career with Brookies.
What We’re Looking For:

- Positive Attitude: A friendly, approachable demeanour and the ability to create a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a retail store or warehouse.
- Must have experience in customer service in a retail environment.
- Forklift licence and demonstrated experience operating a forklift safely
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
Skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
What you’ll be doing
- Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries.
- Accurately picking, packing and loading customer orders
- Maintaining stock levels and ensuring the shop is kept clean and organised
- Operating a forklift to move and rearrange stock as needed
- Assisting with general shed and store duties as required
