Carpenter – Maintenance Division | Pathway to Supervisor/Leading Hand

We're looking for a skilled carpenter to join our Maintenance division. This is a hands-on role with genuine long-term progression — over time you'll be shadowed and mentored by our management team, with a real opportunity to step off the tools in the years ahead and move into a Supervisor or Leading Hand role.

About the Role

This is a hands-on carpentry role with a clear pathway forward. You'll be on the tools day-to-day, but from day one you'll be exposed to how jobs are run, managed and delivered — so when the opportunity comes, you're ready to step up.

What You'll Be Doing

- Carrying out high-quality carpentry work across a range of maintenance jobs

- Working across multiple client sites on a daily basis

- Being closely shadowed and mentored by our Managers

- Learning how jobs are scoped, scheduled and supervised

- Reading plans and understanding what needs to be built

- Keeping sites tidy,



safe and running smoothly

- Liaising with other trades on site as required

- Flagging issues early and helping problem-solve

- Gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills and confidence grow

What We're Looking For

- A qualified, all-round carpenter with solid on-the-tools experience

- Eager to skill up over time into a Supervisor or Leading Hand position

- Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work

- Valuable communicator who works well with clients and other trades

- Keen to learn the management side of the business
