HPS Recruitment is currently seeking a large number of Basic, Intermediate & Advanced Scaffolders and Riggers for multiple upcoming shutdowns across Western Australia.

With shutdowns commencing as early as the next two weeks, we have opportunities across Rio Tinto, FMG and DIDO projects with some of WA's most respected mining, maintenance and construction contractors.

Shutdowns range from 1–3 weeks, making these roles ideal for experienced workers looking to fill gaps between swings, pick up additional shutdown work, or build an ongoing pipeline of work with HPS Recruitment.

We're looking for skilled, reliable people who turn up, work safely and can perform in demanding shutdown environments.

What's on Offer

- $55–$68 per hour, depending on experience and project
- Multiple shutdowns commencing within weeks
- 1–3 week shutdown durations
- Rio Tinto and FMG project opportunities
- FIFO and DIDO shutdowns available
- 12-hour shifts across selected projects

Scaffolders Required We are seeking:

- Basic Scaffolders
- Intermediate Scaffolders
- Advanced Scaffolders

You will be completing shutdown scaffolding works including erection,



modification and dismantling across mining, processing and industrial facilities.
Riggers Required We are seeking:

- Basic Riggers
- Intermediate Riggers
- Advanced Riggers

You will be assisting with shutdown lifting operations, crane movements, equipment installation and general rigging activities across major mining and industrial sites.

Requirements To be considered, you must have:

- Current relevant High Risk Work Licence
- Working at Heights
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Previous scaffolding or rigging experience
- Previous mining/shutdown experience highly regarded
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen
- VOCs highly regarded
- Strong commitment to site safety
- Reliable attitude and ability to complete full swings

Current Rio Tinto or FMG inductions will be highly regarded.
