Electrician – Sydney Trains Maintenance

Critical Rail Infrastructure | Service & Fault Finding | Company Vehicle

Tagteam Australia is seeking an experienced Service Electrician to join our team delivering electrical maintenance and reactive services across the Sydney Trains network.

This is a hands-on service role supporting critical rail infrastructure across Greater Sydney, carrying out a combination of reactive electrical repairs, fault finding, maintenance and minor works.

If you enjoy troubleshooting, variety and working independently rather than spending every day on the same construction site, this could be the role for you.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

- Reactive electrical maintenance and repairs

- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics

- Planned maintenance

- Lighting, power and general electrical repairs

- Minor works and upgrades

- Attending faults across Sydney Trains facilities and infrastructure

- Completing electronic job reporting and documentation

You'll work autonomously in the field while being supported by Tagteam's dedicated service coordination and rail teams.

What We're Looking For

You will need:

- Current NSW Electrical Licence

- Current Driver Licence

- Construction White Card

- Robust fault-finding and problem-solving skills





- Commercial, industrial or maintenance experience

- Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities

- Professional communication skills

- Strong safety-first attitude

- Availability to participate in a rotating on-call roster, with applicable allowances

- Availability to work nights and weekends when required, with applicable allowances

- Ability to obtain required police and rail-related clearances

- Ability to undertake drug and alcohol screening
