We are currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our client located in Wynyard, Tasmania.

This is a short-term requirement commencing 31/08/2026 to cover leave for about 5-6 weeks.

Pay Rate: $40.23 per hour

About the Role
This role is suited to a candidate with previous Laboratory experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Taking Swabs
- Testing of Samples
- Registration of Samples
- Following all workplace safety procedures and standards

To Be Successful You Will Have

- Previous experience in a Laboratory environment
- Robust computer and data entry skills
- Experience using SAP, MEX, or similar management systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy




- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to workplace safety

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to complete:

- Medical assessment including Drug & Alcohol screening
- National Police Check
- Online induction modules
