- HR advisory — Provides consultancy and guidance across recruitment, workforce planning, change management, performance, conflict resolution, grievances, discipline and substandard performance.
- Redeployment & redundancy — Coordinates processes in line with legislation and policy, using active case management to reduce redeployee numbers.
- Award interpretation — Undertakes complex award and agreement interpretation and provides transparent ER/IR advice.
- Policy development — Supports development, implementation and evaluation of HR policies and procedures.
- Briefing preparation — Prepares briefing notes and responses on Public Sector Standards and Industrial Relations matters.
- Stakeholder relationships — Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.




- Classification reviews — Undertakes position classification reviews as required.
- Project coordination — Coordinates HR and organisational development projects aligned to workforce and diversity priorities.
- Workforce data analysis — Assists with preparation and analysis of workforce data to support decision‑making.
- HR investigations — Undertakes HR‑related investigations and reviews when required.
- Workgroup participation — Contributes HR expertise in workgroups, committees and forums to support contemporary workforce practices.
- HR trends & IR knowledge — Maintains current knowledge of HR trends, issues and industrial relations matters.
