Purpose of the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Building Supervisor to join our team at Wandoo Village for a camp refurbishment project. This is project-specific full-time role based in the Pilbara region, with FIFO options available from Perth only. The roster is 8 days on, 6 days off, commencing 15 September 2026, with an initial project duration of 7 months. There may be opportunities for the right candidates to extend their employment and transfer to other projects upon completion of the initial project.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and allocate daily and weekly labour, materials, equipment and resources to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Supervise day-to-day building and refurbishment activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, progress and compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
- Lead, supervise and mentor trades and site team members, providing guidance on work practices, safety, quality and productivity.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure works are appropriately scheduled and delivered in line with project requirements.
- Assist with project planning, cost estimates and quotations for existing and prospective clients.
- Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, site procedures and incident reporting protocols.




- Conduct regular toolbox meetings and communicate health, safety, quality and project updates to the team.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues, delays or resource requirements, taking appropriate action to keep works on track.
- Support performance management, workforce planning and succession planning within the team.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, inspections, work progress and safety documentation.
- Liaise with project management and clients to provide updates on progress, issues, resource requirements and upcoming works.

About You:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in building, construction, refurbishment or facilities maintenance, with demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.
- Hold valid Section 26 (S26) qualifications (mandatory)
- Trade qualification in Carpentry, Building, Construction or a related discipline is highly desirable.
- Solid project coordination, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and motivate a diverse team of trades and subcontractors.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a practical and hands-on approach.
- Customer-focused with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and negotiate positive outcomes.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and quality control processes.
- C-Class Driver’s Licence, Construction White Card and National Police Clearance required.
- Relevant high-risk licences, site-specific inductions and experience working in remote or FIFO environments will be highly regarded.
