Haydays Retirement Hostel is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our small rural aged care team in Hay NSW.
We are looking for an RN who can provide safe, person-centred care and work closely with our care staff, residents, families, GPs and other health professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- resident assessment and care planning
- medication management
- wound care and clinical monitoring
- responding to changes in resident health and wellbeing
- supporting and guiding care staff on shift
- maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- contributing to quality improvement, incident management and continuous improvement
- communicating with residents, families and health professionals
We are looking for:
- current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- aged care experience preferred
- good communication and documentation skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- a genuine interest in residential aged care
