This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who wants to broaden their experience beyond traditional advisory work and get closely involved in how a business operates.
Joining an established HR function within a global mining organisation, you'll work closely with the HR Manager across a mix of operational and strategic HR initiatives, with a particular focus on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and culture. You'll also partner with HR and key stakeholders across multiple locations.
A significant component of the role will be supporting an organisation-wide review of the company's structure and management framework, including workforce planning, reporting lines, accountabilities and the way corporate and mine-site operations work together.

A typical week might see you:

- Partnering with HR and operational teams across corporate and mine-site locations
- Supporting an organisation-wide review of structures, reporting lines, accountabilities and how corporate and operational teams work together
- Contributing to workforce and capability planning, including role clarity, workforce requirements and succession considerations
- Supporting the development of practical people frameworks across performance, remuneration, talent and training
- Helping build and strengthen culture across a diverse,



multicultural workforce
- Using workforce data and reporting to identify trends, provide insights and support decision-making
- Getting involved in broader HR projects and helping turn recommendations into practical actions
- Being a visible and approachable member of the HR team, with plenty of day-to-day interaction across the business
- Working closely with HR colleagues across multiple locations to coordinate projects and broader HR initiatives

We're looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity and confidence to the HR function. You'll be comfortable asking questions, challenging something when it doesn't quite make sense and getting into the detail of how the organisation operates.

You'll ideally bring:

- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with the confidence to work across different levels of a business
- An interest in organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and how people, structures and operations work together
- Strong technology skills and confidence working with data and reporting; Power BI experience would be particularly useful
- Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships across all areas of the business
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving
- Project management experience would be highly regarded
- Exposure to compliance, governance or highly regulated environments would be beneficial, but isn't essential

You don't need previous mining experience. For someone looking to move into the industry, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a complex operational environment while learning from an experienced HR team.
