We are recruiting for a part-time Allied Health Administration Officer at our neuro-affirming mental health occupational therapy and psychology practice in Belmont.

About this position
This part-time administration role is very important to our team. You’ll play a vital part in keeping the practice running smoothly by supporting operations and the client experience. There is the option to work 3–4 days a week, with the opportunity to design a schedule that suits both work and other life commitments.

Working in cooperation with our Practice Manager and Senior Administration Officers, here is a summary of the key duties that will help our practice thrive:
Supporting our culture
- Bring a positive and supportive attitude to the team.
- Contribute to activities that build connection and growth.
Client experience and service delivery
- Facilitate positive client interactions from first enquiry and intake through to discharge, supporting smooth workflows, clear expectations, outstanding communication and client-centered practice.
- Maintain accurate client records and assist with administration of client funding, service agreements and plan information, including tracking relevant plan dates and funding details.
- Assist with intake tasks in conjunction with the Intake Officer.
- Receive and make calls and emails to gather details, reschedule appointments and discuss finance matters, using neuro-affirming, trauma-informed and inclusive communication principles.
Clinician support
- Support clinicians with practical, hands-on administration support.
Financial management
- Issue invoices and keep track of client payments. Knowledge of Xero and Splose would be an advantage.
Operations
- Contribute to improving practice-wide processes to support better workflow and staff support and help maintain compliance with relevant practice standards.
- Assist with the general upkeep of the clinic.
Social media and communications practice
- Experience and knowledge in social media and communications practice is an advantage.
Additional skills that would be highly regarded.
- If software, systems and IT support are areas of strength for you, this would be a valuable advantage in the role. Life Connect uses a range of software systems to keep the business running smoothly, advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams and Planner would be highly regarded.

- You are IT savvy and have a sound understanding of Microsoft 365 programs. Advanced knowledge in this area is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Splose would be an advantage.
- You understand basic finance administration and can confidently navigate invoicing systems and programs such as Xero.
